With a disease like diabetes, the person living the the disease has a primary role in its management. We empower those living with diabetes to become educated about their disease. Cathy Wright, BSN, RN, CDE, certified diabetes nurse educator, works to enhance patient's knowledge of diabetes self-management. Ms. Wright works indiviually with patients to promote lifestyle changes designed to optimize diabetes management and overall health.
